We’re working with a specialist all-age SEND school in Reading who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils with a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Your Role • Support pupils in lessons, adapting activities to help them access learning. • Assist with personal care when required. • Respond to challenging behaviour with patience, resilience and empathy. • Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment. • Encourage independence, communication and social skills. • Work closely with teachers, therapists and other staff to provide tailored support.
