We are looking for compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants to join an independent special school in Crosby this Autumn. The school supports pupils aged 8–16, providing a safe, nurturing environment where young people can rebuild confidence, develop resilience, and engage with meaningful learning tailored to their needs. About the Role As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support adapted to pupils’ individual needs • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver inclusive and therapeutic learning experiences • Build positive, trusting relationships that help students feel safe, valued, and understood • Support emotional regulation and behaviour management using strategies that promote self-awareness, resilience, and respectful interactions Why Join?
