Job Title: Teaching Assistant Oldbury
Location: Oldbury (B68)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Oldbury. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to work closely with pupils who require extra support with their learning and development.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers and SEN staff to support children with a range of needs. Your role will involve both classroom-based and 1:1 support, helping pupils to stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in education, care, or youth work who is looking to make a real difference in a child’s life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
• Support students with their academic, emotional, and social development
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
• Positive, patient, and flexible approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
