Location: Partington, Trafford (M31) School Type: Secondary school with a strong SEN focus Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm Rate: Up to £104/day, based on experience Referral Offer: Earn £50 when someone you refer completes 5 full days! A well-regarded SEN-focused secondary school in Partington (M31) is looking for a reliable and confident teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in UK education who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs — especially those who require help staying focused and regulating their behaviour in a classroom setting. The Role: - You’ll be working closely with a small number of students who benefit from extra attention and structure throughout the school day. This includes: - A student with diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who responds well to routine, consistency, and a calm approach - Another pupil showing strong ADHD characteristics (though not formally diagnosed), who needs frequent redirection and help with focus during lessons - You’ll support them 1:1 or in a small group setting, helping them to remain engaged in class and access learning alongside their peers. This isn’t a high-stress, high-turnover environment — the school is known for its positive culture, approachable leadership, and respect for support staff.
