Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Autism Support Location: Southall, West London (Excellent Rail Links) Start Date: ASAP, October 2025 Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Day Rate: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) About the Role Axcis Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant mainstream primary school in Southall, West London, to recruit a committed and nurturing teaching assistant for a full-time, long-term position. You will be working 1:1 with a Key Stage 1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The child is bright and inquisitive, thriving with consistency and structure but requiring support with emotional regulation, managing transitions, and elements of personal care. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a strong, trusting relationship, implement proactive strategies, and have a lasting, positive impact on a young learner’s life. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education, comes with experience and initiative, and is eager to support children holistically in a school that values child-centred approaches.
