About the Role
A warm and inclusive primary school in Brent is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from early October. This full-time, long-term role is an excellent opportunity to support children with a range of complex needs, including:
-Autism (ASD)
-Non-verbal communication
-SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)
You will provide support both within the classroom and through 1:1 and small group sessions, helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and thrive in their education.

We’re seeking someone who:
-Has experience working with children with SEN, especially Autism and non-verbal needs
-Is confident using alternative communication methods, such as PECS or Makaton
-Brings patience, empathy, and a flexible, calm approach
- Works well in a team-oriented environment
-Communicates effectively with both pupils and staff
-Is passionate about making a lasting impact on children’s lives

-Enhanced DBS Requirement on the update service: All staff must bring their original DBS certificate on their first day
