-Use positive behaviour reinforcement, reward systems, and visual aids to encourage engagement
-Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to follow and adapt the pupil’s individual behaviour and support plan

-Confident in managing challenging behaviour with a calm, consistent, and proactive approach
-Strong understanding of emotional regulation techniques, visual support tools, and positive behaviour management strategies
-Able to build trust and a strong relationship with a child who may initially be resistant to support
-Patience, empathy, resilience, and a reflective mindset are essential
-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
-Relevant training (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA, or behaviour support strategies) is desirable but not essential
Why Join This School?
-Be part of a collaborative and child-focused team
-Work in a mainstream school with excellent SEN support systems
