What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to help them access learning and build confidence. Implementing behaviour strategies and therapeutic approaches to de-escalate and guide pupils positively. Building trusted relationships, acting as a calm, consistent and positive role model. Working with teachers, SENCO and specialist staff to deliver tailored learning interventions. Adapting resources and approaches to suit a range of abilities and learning styles. Monitoring progress, celebrating achievements, and providing meaningful feedback to the wider team. What We’re Looking For: Someone experienced in working with SEMH pupils, or a psychology/education graduate passionate about this field. Resilient, patient, and empathetic with strong behaviour management skills. A team player with excellent communication and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
