Job Title: Trauma Learning Coach
Trauma Learning Coach – Primary & Secondary Schools in Stockport and Tameside Axcis Education is currently supporting several schools across Stockport and Tameside who are seeking Trauma Learning Coaches to work with pupils who have experienced complex trauma and may sometimes display challenging behaviour. We have opportunities available in both primary and secondary settings, with roles offered on a full-time or part-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm). Pay rates range from £90 to £100 per day, depending on your experience within mainstream or SEND environments. The ideal candidate will be: - Resilient, reliable, and approachable. - Committed with a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for supporting young people. - Positive in their outlook and enthusiastic about helping pupils thrive. - Motivated, reflective, and keen to continuously develop. Pupils in these schools follow a creative and personalised curriculum, designed to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Behaviour is managed using tailored strategies that focus on small, positive steps forward, supported by excellent facilities to help pupils regulate their emotions. As a Trauma Learning Coach, your role will centre around daily support for pupils, ensuring they can access their learning and feel safe and understood in school.
