The appointed candidate will be an enthusiastic and reflective teacher with a strong understanding of effective Key Stage 1 teaching. They will work closely with a dedicated and supportive team to create a nurturing and ambitious learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners within Key Stage 1
- Use a range of teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and a love of learning
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform planning and targeted support
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote each child’s academic and emotional development
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and its ongoing commitment to continuous improvement
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates achievement and promotes high expectations
The candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)
- Experience of teaching within Key Stage 1
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective classroom practice
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and the well-being of every child
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A reflective, adaptable, and collaborative approach, with enthusiasm for professional development
