Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Epilepsy)
SEN TA – Epilepsy & Seizure Care – Primary – Tower Hamlets From £92/day | Primary | Tower Hamlets | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are working with a primary school in Tower Hamlets who require a dedicated SEN TA to support a pupil with epilepsy. The school has an inclusive ethos and a caring leadership team, ensuring pupils’ safety and wellbeing are at the forefront. The school is a short walk from Tube and bus routes, making it an easy commute. In this role, you will be: • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with epilepsy, monitoring their wellbeing throughout the school day. • Responding appropriately to seizures and following care plans accurately. • Supporting the child with learning in class and encouraging participation in activities. • Liaising with teachers, parents and medical professionals to ensure consistent support. What we’re looking for: • Experience supporting pupils with medical needs, epilepsy or similar. • A calm, reassuring presence who can act quickly in emergencies. • Confidence in following care plans and safeguarding protocols. • A caring and empathetic professional, passionate about inclusion.
