Axcis are partnering with a thriving primary school in Havering to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support their SEND department. The school has a warm, inclusive ethos and is proud of its strong SEND provision, regularly praised in its Good Ofsted reports. Easily accessible by bus and train, with staff parking available.
In this role, you will be:
• Leading small group interventions for pupils with SEND.
• Providing cover for classes when required.
• Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD and speech & language needs.
• Working alongside the SENCO to track pupil progress and adjust provision.
What we’re looking for:
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and experience across primary.
• Confidence leading groups and supporting classroom learning.
• A flexible, organised professional with excellent communication skills.
